Summertime and Stitching 2024

I hope your summer has been a great one so fall. Mike and I have been busy at the shop.  I guess the word is out, there is a Quilt shop on the island!! 

It's been awhile since I sent out a newsletter, so I'm going to play catch up with a few of you. 

We have more Christmas fabric in stock than we have ever had before.  I don't know what happened.  Last year, nothing appealed to me, this year "Bam" great Christmas lines were everywhere. This line is called Kitty Christmas by Moda.  We also have Starberry, On Dasher, and Dear Santa. 

I got an email from Kathy Schmitz asking if I would like to kit her newest Christmas Ornament pattern.  Of course, I said, "YES"  We have a few left, I'll be kitting more when we get the linen in from Moda.  The pattern is $10.00, Kit with Pattern is $32.00, Kit with Pattern & Thread is $42.00

 We got the Canvas Maker Buckets from Moda back in stock.  This year, I brought in a boat load of them.  Last year, they only last for about 15 minutes before we sold out.  They make perfect beach bags, then tote them home as a quilty souvenir.  New this year is the Small Canvas Maker Buckets as well. Our Monday Stich and Chat is all about Hatched & Patched, "A Day in Happyland"  We have the Pattern, fabric bundles from Diamond Textiles, and Wool bundles that we are using.  We don't have a kit for this project as we are working on it along with you.  We are also using wool bundles, Mud Puddles, Forever Reds and Teal Me for the reds, blues and brown for the project. We added Cherrywood to our line of fabrics.
